On the morning of July 1, 2024, the 2024 Party Building Work and July 1st Commendation Conference of Southern Nonferrous Metals Group was grandly held at the Nandan Base. The Nandan County Party Committee dispatched the company's Party building instructor Mo Liping, the company's Party Secretary Liu Jianping, Party committee members, and party member representatives from 11 affiliated party branches to attend the meeting, which was chaired by Deputy Party Secretary Luo Qien.

At the meeting, commendations were given to the "Advanced Party Branch", "Outstanding Communist Party Member", and "Outstanding Party Worker" for the year 2023. The Party Committee of the Group Company hopes that the commended collectives and individuals will carry forward the excellent style of humility, prudence, and guard against arrogance and impatience, work solidly, actively strive for progress, and make new achievements. The Party Committee calls on all levels of Party organizations and Party members in the company to take the advanced as an example, continue to play the role of the Party organization as a fighting fortress and the exemplary role of Party members, and make new and greater contributions to the development of the company!

Comrade Mo Liping, the Party building instructor dispatched by the Nandan County Committee to the company, first congratulated the advanced collectives and outstanding individuals who were commended. At the same time, she hoped that the "Southern Talent Vanguard Team" and "Party Member Assault Team" would work together to strengthen the cultivation of craftsmen that are in line with the development of enterprises, enhance Party building to empower enterprise development, and achieve a win-win situation between Party building and enterprise development.

Comrade Liu Jianping, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Group Company, summarized the Party building work in 2023 and made arrangements and deployments for the Party building work in 2024.

  Adhere to a problem oriented approach, explore the establishment of a scientific and effective system for Party member education and management, and strive to demonstrate practical measures and results in "focusing on learning, strengthening organizations, leading teams, transforming work styles, shaping images, and promoting development". Firmly grasp the general requirements of "learning ideology, strengthening party spirit, emphasizing practice, and building new achievements", comprehensively promote theoretical learning, entrepreneurship, and inspection and rectification, and use the effectiveness of theme education to promote high-quality development of enterprises. In 2023, the Party Committee of the Group Company was awarded the title of "Advanced Collective in Theme Education of the Whole District in 2023", and the Party Branch of Nanguo Copper Industry was awarded the title of "Demonstration Unit for Party Building of Two New Organizations in the Whole District". The quality of Party building work of the Group Company has reached a new level.

In 2024, the Party Committee of the Group Company will fully implement the general requirements of Party building in the new era, firmly uphold ideals and beliefs, keep in mind the original aspiration and mission, strengthen theoretical learning, improve political literacy, promote pragmatic style, be brave in taking on responsibilities, further strengthen the construction of Party conduct and clean governance, lead all Party members to write a new chapter in the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era with more enthusiasm and high spirits, and contribute southern strength to realizing the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!

Regarding the key points of party building work in the second half of the year, Secretary Liu put forward five requirements:

1、 Be firm in your ideals and beliefs, and keep in mind your original aspiration and mission. Under the new historical conditions, we must always remember our original aspiration, keep in mind our mission, take the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as the goal of unremitting struggle, adhere to our beliefs, constantly enhance the "four consciousnesses", strengthen the "four confidences", and achieve the "two safeguards".

2、 We need to strengthen theoretical learning and improve political literacy. We must study the theoretical knowledge of the Party seriously, further enhance our political sensitivity and discernment, and always maintain a high degree of consistency with the Party Central Committee in ideology, politics, and action.

3、 We must establish the concept of focusing on Party building around production and operation, adhere to developing production and operation backbone into Party members, cultivate Party members into production and operation backbone, effectively strengthen the construction of the Party committee team, branch members, and Party members, consolidate the foundation of the company's Party building work, fully play the strong fortress of the Party organization and the exemplary role of Party members, and win the trust and support of the company's employees with excellent work style and outstanding performance.

4、 We should promote the style of seeking truth and being pragmatic, and be brave in taking on responsibilities. We will effectively implement the Party's various decisions and deployments, establish a correct view of political achievements, dare to take responsibility, be good at doing things, and do a solid and meticulous job with the spirit of nailing nails.

5、 We must continuously strengthen the construction of clean and honest enterprises and create a clean and upright working atmosphere. Adhere to the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party, strictly implement the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulation, and persist in maintaining good conduct and discipline. Strengthen intra party supervision, establish a long-term mechanism of "dare not be corrupt, cannot be corrupt, and do not want to be corrupt", and through strict education, management, and supervision of party members, cultivate the political character of loyalty, cleanliness, and responsibility, and consciously contribute the red power of party members to the construction of clean enterprises.
